When I started strength training 19 years ago, I was full time into soccer in a small town called Glencoe (Northen KZN) South Africa. Gym was only scheduled by our soccer fitness coach on Tuesdays and Fridays only to build us strong physically. In just under a few months that’s when I felt strong and I started getting in better shape than most that were in my soccer team. It felt right to lift weights.
The feeling of seeing body transformation motivated me to even attend gym without the rest of my soccer team members. That’s I even screw up my soccer performance. Got heavy and slow on speed. Which led to slowly moving away from soccer to lift more weight where I was winning at. Not long after I left soccer with a group of gym friends we decided to diet down for a small local bodybuilding show and guess what I took it home. I WON!
From then I’ve never looked back and my friends then started coming to me for guidance, gym tips and food which led me to starting seeing myself as a Personal trainer as all just felt right. I then got a very caring friend (client at that time) who sponsored my studies to be a professional fitness/personal trainer and all was a success since then I changed people’s lives (male and female) at a higher level. To lose weight, build muscle and maintain healthy physique through proper training and eating right. And as they say the rest is history
My mindset in most life aspects/ personal goals is of an athlete preparing to win a competition. All because of growing up competing in soccer and in bodybuilding. If I set a goal, I must reach it, and that creates motivation to do what’s next. I never start something and not finish it and I always see myself as number one in most things I do. I have a belief that “if someone is great at something it also means I can too if I can work hard at it and learn what I don’t know.”
I am very humbled to have worked with countless people and currently. To now get to help you to be a better version of yourself.
Let’s look amazing and feel good.
